Kirsten Stewart
Kirsten is a Senior Manager at WMS, collaborating closely with David Brims and managing the TNT team. Her academic journey began at Griffith University, where she earned her Bachelor of Business with a major in accounting in 1999. Kirsten’s dedication to her field is further highlighted by her Chartered Accountant qualification, which she completed in 2001.
Interestingly, Kirsten’s professional journey with WMS began even before her graduation. She started as an undergraduate in 1998 and has since been an integral part of the WMS family. Kirsten was the first employee of the WMS partnership and in celebrated her 25th year work anniversary in 2023.
Kirsten delivers high-level commercial advice to a range of business entities, across a diverse range of size and industries. During her tenure at WMS, Kirsten has developed expertise in a broad range of tax issues including small business CGT concessions, off-shore dealings, and restructuring.
Kirsten’s commitment to her profession is evident in the accolades she has received. She was honoured with the Dux award for the highest GPA among accounting major students at Griffith University in both 1997 and 1998. Additionally, she secured a merit position in the top 10% for the Tax Module in the CA Program.
Outside of her bustling professional life, Kirsten wears the proud hat of a mother to three wonderful children. She also dedicates her time as the current Treasurer at the Runaway Bay Soccer Club.
