Ben has over 25 years in the profession, joining WMS in 1999 and being admitted as a Partner in 2003. His primary areas of focus and expertise include superannuation, estate planning and family law matters although he also has a strong interest in taxation and GST matters generally.
Ben has strong experience in a number of industry sectors including property development, professional services and advising self-managed superannuation funds (“SMSF”). He regularly assists Clients in relation to SMSF structuring activities including managing related entities and borrowing arrangements. Ben has also been involved in the administration of a number of large estates and has also assisted in litigation matters involving estates, superannuation and family law.
Ben has a strong interest in the development of professional staff and conducts training for the firm regularly. He is also a regular presenter for local seminars on superannuation and estate planning and has also presented for CAANZ and the Taxation Institute.
Ben is an ASIC registered auditor for SMSFs, a Chartered Taxation Advisor with the Taxation Institute and an accredited specialist SMSF advisor.
