Philippa Semple

Philippa is a Senior SMSF Manager at WMS and has been an integral part of the firm since 2014. Philippa graduated with a Bachelor of Business from Griffith University in 2000 with Award for Academic Excellence. Philippa achieved CPA status with high distinction in every subject in 2003 and furthered her credentials with a CA in 2018.

Before joining WMS, Philippa amassed 14 years of industry experience, equipping her with a wealth of knowledge that she now brings to her role. While she primarily collaborates with Partner Ben Dean, Philippa’s expertise extends to overseeing the SMSF function for the entire firm.

Philippa’s dedication and excellence have been consistently recognized. At WMS, she was honoured with the “Love it Cultural Values Award” in 2023 and the “Live Like AK Award” in 2022. Philippa has served on the WMS Wellness Committee since its inception in 2019 and is proud of the impact this committee has had on the wellbeing of staff members at the firm.

Philippa also serves on the board of Heal.ed Tribe which supports and empowers youth on their mental health journeys.

Beyond her professional and academic achievements, Philippa is the parent of two very active children and spends her weekends watching sporting events.
