Amanda Labes

Amanda is a seasoned senior accountant who joined WMS in July 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Swinburne University (2018) and became CA qualified in 2022. Amanda’s journey into the accounting world is a story of passion and discovery; she started as a receptionist at a tax firm at the age of 21 and quickly realised her interest in the industry, leading her to pursue a career in accounting.

With seven years of experience under her belt before joining WMS, Amanda specialises in tax compliance, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Matthew Shoobridge’s team.

Outside of her professional life, Amanda is a devoted mother to her beautiful little boy born in 2022 and enjoys spending quality time with her husband and cavoodle, ‘Rebel’. She is also a yoga enthusiast who loves to travel, read, and cook.
