Maria Ibon

Maria is a dedicated Accountant at WMS Tax & Advisory, having joined the team in 2023 as an intern before transitioning to a full-time role in 2024. With a rich background spanning multiple countries, Maria brings a wealth of experience to her role.

Maria holds a Master of Accounting (Professional) from Bond University, which she completed in February 2024. Her studies covered financial statement analysis, management accounting, taxation practice, and applied research. Prior to her Australian education, Maria earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Financial Management from the Lyceum of the Philippines University in March 2013.

Maria’s accounting journey began in 2012 in the Philippines and was continued in the United Arab Emirates. At WMS, Maria focuses on various aspects of accounting, including MAS journal entries, preparing financial reports, setting up workpapers, handling BAS, and managing individual, trust, companies tax returns.

Maria’s dedication extends beyond her work. She serves as a Student Ambassador for Bond University, actively contributing to the university community.
